This workstream examines the magnitude, demographics, and impact of inequitable distribution of income, wealth, and benefits within an innovation-driven economy, including access to technology, to education and training, and to economic and entrepreneurial opportunity.

Shelters, Support, and Housing Administration: Research lead embedded in the Access to Housing team conducting data analysis, user-centered design research, and policy analysis to improve the subsidized housing waitlist.
Employment and Social Services: Conducted qualitative and quantitative analysis of TESS's employment and social support programs for Ontario Works recipients. Facilitated consultations with front-line staff, clients, and service providers.
Real Estate Services: Supported public consultations and contracting for the design and re-development of city-owned heritage buildings.

Impact and Innovation Unit
Designed and executed experiments that applied behavioural science to improve access to/uptake in programs and services.
Communications advisor to government departments seeking to use digital platforms and social media for public consultations and engagement.
Developed curriculum and facilitated workshops at all levels of government, from junior analysts to senior executives in public sector innovation and new tools for policymaking and service design.
Co-organizer for Behavioural Economics for the Public Sector, a 400-person, two-day conference bringing together Canadian public sector practitioners from all levels of government, alongside academics and international experts.
Co-founder and secretariat for the interdepartmental Behavioural Economics Community of Practice.
Secretariat for the Deputy Minister Committee on Policy Innovation
Monitored, assessed, and reported on a suite of departmental and interdepartmental pilot projects using social media and digital technology in policymaking and program design.
Supported the planning and execution of Committee meetings, including drafting discussion papers, developing agendas, and meeting coordination.
